Dreamy Expressive Solo Piano Music
Looking Out is dreamy expressive solo piano music from my Two Days One Summer session. Improvised acoustic piano compositions recorded in two days by Jason Pittman. Jason did an excellent job in capturing the spontaneity of my performance. I divided the music from Two Days One Summer into separate categories. Looking In is relaxing, tonal and gentle with Looking Out expressive, dreamy and adventurous. I can hear my whole music history when listening to this music. Influences of growing up in Indiana, the jazz classical fusion solo piano works of Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Lyle Mays, Rick Wakeman, Bruce Hornsby and McCoy Tyner and more.

comments on the solo piano recording "Looking Out"

(samples are low sonic resolution for dial up)
Looking Out Play Sample
Musical equivalent of talking about whatever may be stressing you out.
Something's Brewing Play Sample
Things are going on pretty well but you know things are possibly building to a unwanted confrontation that may cause unneeded stress.
Too Much Coffee & CNN Play Sample
I do like to watch CNN but sometimes they have too much visual crap going on in the background that it makes your head spin, especially if you have had too much coffee. This composition humorously shows what is going inside of me when that happens.
Working Up A Sweat Play Sample
Tackling a summer project around the house that should be easy but you end up sweating buckets because the humidity is kicking your butt.
Floating Clouds In A Grey Sky Play Sample
Day dreaming and watching the clouds before an oncoming storm.
Southern Winds Play Sample
Sad and hopeful for all those that have gone through the Hurricanes of 2005.
Follow Me Play Sample
Leading and not completely sure of what the outcome may be. For me the most interesting musicians are fearless in exploring the music unknown.
Front Porch Swing Play Sample
A swinging composition that is jazzy and has a Midwest twang that can come
only from living in Indiana, USA.
Spinning My Wheels Play Sample
Sometimes you work and work at something and it seems like it will never get done. This piano piece is the musical score to that feeling.
Warm And Breezy Play Sample
In the summer I like to watch the results of the work I did in the Spring to my garden. Warm and Breezy makes me think of watching my flowers blowing in the warm Summer wind.
Spanish Holiday Play Sample
A good friend of mine took an extended camping trip to Spain for several months. This music make think of what that experience for him must of been like.
Wild Flower Garden Play Sample
I have a rather large wild flower garden that I enjoy working on. This music make me think of all the activity that goes on with birds, bees and such in my garden.
I'll Be Right Back Play Sample
This music make me think of the hero in a movie taking off from a safe place into unknown danger to help the people left behind.
Dreaming In Circles Play Sample
A recurring day dream of things to try improve ones situation and just holding on to hope that you can make a plan pull it off.
At Every Turn Play Sample
Being fearless knowing At Every Turn you could be venturing into a situation that could cause you to crash and burn.
